Get Involved!

Getting Involved is Easy!

There are several ways to get involved at Discovery. Whether it's participating in a weekly life group, getting active in one of our ministries, or serving in the church or community, we have a place for you.

Our Ministries

Children's Ministry

At Discovery Christian Church we want every child to have a R . E . A . L . relationship with God:

Reaching Others      Children will reach out to their friends who don't know Jesus.

Excitement   We want every child to be excited to learn more about Gods word.

Action   We desire for children to put what they learn in to action! Whether it be through service, obeying their parents, personal growth, etc.

Learn   Every child will learn about Gods love and that they are special to him.

Get Involved: Children's Ministry Opportunities

For Discovery Parents
The Discovery Zone is a partnership between those in Children's Ministry positions and the parents, for the well–being of your child. As a parent of a child at Discovery, your input and cooperation is vital to this ministry. You can further support the ministry in the following ways:

Our Illness Policy
At Discovery we want all of our children to remain healthy. For this reason we ask that you keep your child at home if they have any of the following symptoms or illnesses.

If your child is being treated with antibiotics, he/she should be on the medication and fever free for at least 24 hours before coming to their class.

* We understand that sometimes a child may have a runny nose, sore throat or rash due to allergies. If this is the case please let us know!
