Life is full - work, family, school, relationships, hobbies, activities.  Then there are the bills, sicknesses, and worries.  In the midst of it all, we hear a lot about the need for balance.  Our culture is permeated with the concept of balance. In the church, people pray for balance.  People give counsel that balance is what you need.  And you are judged if you don’t have balance. If we really had it together, you would be able to figure out balance. People leave church and drop out of Christian service seeking balance.

This series will challenge the idea of balance.  Jesus has called us to live an unbalanced life of being all in for him, and allowing him to order our life from there.  We must be willing to surrender everything we have to him.  Only from that place of surrender can we hope to wisely use our time, resources, and abilities and find the “full life” Jesus came to give us (John 10:10).
